Description

Castrol Optigear Synthetic RO 150 is a high-performance synthetic gear oil developed for demanding gear and bearing applications, particularly where extreme loads, shock loading, vibration and wide temperature variations are encountered. Its synthetic formulation incorporates Castrol’s Microflux Trans (MFT) Plastic Deformation technology, which helps reduce surface roughness, friction and wear under demanding operating conditions while providing high load-carrying and scuffing protection. The ISO VG 150 viscosity provides a suitable lubricating film for heavily loaded gear systems and bearings. It is suitable for spur, bevel and hypoid gears, heavily loaded roller bearings and applications involving low or high temperatures, including rail equipment, mechanical engineering machinery and other demanding industrial applications.
