TARO ULTRA 100

Description

Taro Ultra 100 is a premium cylinder lubricant developed for large two-stroke, slow-speed crosshead marine diesel engines. Its high detergency and 100 BN alkalinity reserve help neutralise sulphur-derived acids while controlling piston crown, ring and liner deposits. The 100 BN formulation provides high acid-neutralising capacity for approved operating conditions involving higher-sulphur residual fuels. Strong lubricating-film performance protects cylinder liners and piston rings against scuffing, corrosive wear and mechanical wear. It should be selected according to the engine builder’s fuel-sulphur, feed-rate and operating-condition guidance.
