Description

Mobil HyJet IV-A Plus is a low-density, fire-resistant Type IV phosphate-ester hydraulic fluid for commercial and business aircraft. It provides excellent high-temperature stability, low-temperature flow, deposit control and protection against wear, rust and electrochemical erosion. Its performance approaches several Type V capabilities while retaining Type IV classification, providing broad mixed-fleet flexibility and potential aircraft weight savings. The fluid is compatible in all proportions with approved Type IV and Type V phosphate-ester aviation hydraulic fluids. It meets SAE AS1241 Type IV low-density requirements and carries approvals from major aircraft manufacturers.
