Description

Mobil HyJet V is a premium fire-resistant Type V phosphate-ester hydraulic fluid designed for advanced commercial aircraft hydraulic systems. It provides outstanding thermal stability, acid resistance, deposit control and protection against wear, rust, corrosion and servo-valve erosion. Its Type V chemistry supports more than twice the in-service fluid life associated with typical Type IV fluids and is authorised for the Airbus A380’s 5,000-psi hydraulic system. Low density and excellent low-temperature viscosity support precise hydraulic response while helping control aircraft fluid weight. It is compatible with approved Type IV and Type V fluids and carries major Airbus and Boeing approvals.
