GEARMASTER SYN 460

Description

GEARMASTER SYN 460 is a fully synthetic poly-alpha-olefin (PAO)-based high-performance gear oil designed for heavily loaded industrial gearboxes subjected to elevated and fluctuating operating temperatures. Its high resistance to ageing, excellent corrosion protection and very good temperature-viscosity behaviour provide dependable lubrication under demanding conditions. The ISO VG 460 viscosity provides a thick lubricating film for heavily loaded spur, bevel and planetary gears where higher-viscosity lubrication is required. Excellent low-temperature flow properties support reliable operation over a broad temperature range, while reduced friction and wear can contribute to improved gearbox efficiency. It is classified as CLP-HC 460 and exceeds DIN 51517-3 requirements.
