Description

Mobilgard M420 is a premium SAE 40 trunk-piston engine oil developed for medium-speed marine and stationary diesel engines operating on 0.50% or 0.10% sulphur fuels, LNG and other approved fuel grades. Its high-performance detergent system helps manage residual-fuel contamination and maintain cleanliness in crankcases, camshaft areas, piston rings and undercrowns. The SAE 40 viscosity supplies a more substantial oil film for highly loaded or hotter-running engines, while its 20 BN reserve suits modern low-sulphur operation. Strong oxidation resistance, low volatility and corrosion protection support dependable main-propulsion, auxiliary-engine and power-generation service.
