Mobil SHC 629 is a supreme-performance ISO VG 150 synthetic gear and bearing oil engineered for enclosed industrial gear drives and circulation systems operating under demanding loads and temperatures. Excellent oxidation and thermal stability helps prevent sludge and deposits, supporting extended lubricant and filter life. The ISO VG 150 viscosity provides dependable film strength for moderately loaded gearboxes and is also suitable for oil-flooded rotary screw compressors handling natural gas, carbon dioxide and other process gases. Low fluid friction can improve gearbox efficiency and reduce operating temperature, while strong anti-wear and corrosion protection safeguards critical components. It is approved for Flender and SEW-Eurodrive gearboxes.
