Description

Shell Gadus S3 V460D 2 is a premium heavy-duty, high-temperature grease formulated with ISO VG 460 high-viscosity-index mineral base oil and a lithium-complex soap thickener. Its molybdenum disulphide solid lubricant significantly strengthens protection against severe shock loads and supports dependable lubrication of large, slow-moving bearings. The grease provides excellent load-carrying capability, mechanical stability under vibration, resistance to water washout and effective protection against oxidation, wear and corrosion. It is principally recommended for heavily loaded bearings operating in mining, steel-production and other severe industrial equipment. The product has an NLGI 2 consistency and an operating-temperature range of approximately –20°C to +140°C.
