Description

Shell Corena S4 P 100 is an advanced ISO VG 100 synthetic ester-based compressor oil formulated for high-pressure reciprocating piston air compressors operating under severe conditions. Its higher viscosity provides a strong lubricating film for compressors specifically requiring an ISO VG 100 oil, including units operating continuously at high delivery pressures and discharge temperatures exceeding 220°C. Its extremely low deposit-forming tendency helps prevent carbon and lacquer accumulation on valves and piston crowns, supporting sustained compressor efficiency and extended valve-maintenance intervals. The formulation provides outstanding protection against wear and corrosion, excellent water separation for easier condensate removal and enhanced discharge-air-line safety. It meets DIN 51506 VDL, ISO 6743-3 DAB and EN 12021 requirements.
