Description

ALPHA SP 680 is a high-quality industrial gear oil based on highly refined mineral oil and an advanced extreme-pressure additive system designed to provide high load-carrying capacity, thermal stability and microscopic wear protection. Its EP performance helps protect gears against wear and shock loading, while its micropitting protection helps extend gear life in demanding industrial applications. The ISO VG 680 viscosity provides a heavy lubricating film for highly loaded gear systems. It is suitable for industrial gearboxes using forced circulation, splash or oil-bath lubrication, including spur and helical gears and certain lightly loaded worm gears. It meets DIN 51517 Part 3 and is classified as CLP.
