Description

Eastman Turbo Oil 2197 is a 5 cSt synthetic polyol ester lubricant developed for aircraft gas-turbine engines operating under severe thermal conditions. Its high thermal and oxidative stability helps control coke, sludge and varnish formation while maintaining dependable lubrication at elevated temperatures. Its HPC and HTS performance makes it especially suitable for advanced turbine engines requiring superior deposit control and oil cleanliness. Strong load-carrying capability and low-temperature fluidity support reliable bearings, gears and accessory systems throughout the operating range. It meets SAE AS5780 Class HPC and MIL-PRF-23699 Class HTS requirements and should be used only where approved by the equipment manufacturer.
