Description

GEARMASTER CLP 220 is a mineral-oil-based high-performance gear oil designed for heavily loaded industrial gearboxes. It combines high load-carrying capacity with excellent wear protection, good ageing stability and high thermal stability for dependable operation under demanding conditions. Its low foaming tendency and excellent corrosion protection help safeguard gears and other components throughout extended service. The ISO VG 220 viscosity provides a thicker lubricating film suitable for heavily loaded spur, bevel and planetary gears. GEARMASTER CLP 220 reduces friction and can help lower gear operating temperatures while supporting extended oil service life and maintenance intervals. It exceeds the requirements of DIN 51517-3 and is within the Siemens AG/Flender approved viscosity range.
