Description

GEARMASTER CLP 680 is a mineral-oil-based high-performance gear oil formulated for heavily loaded industrial gearboxes requiring a high-viscosity lubricant. It provides high load-carrying capacity, excellent wear protection, good ageing stability and high thermal stability, helping protect gears under demanding operating conditions. Its excellent corrosion protection and minimum foam formation support dependable lubrication and long-term gearbox performance. The ISO VG 680 viscosity provides a very thick lubricating film for heavily loaded gear systems and applications requiring high-viscosity lubrication. It is suitable for spur, bevel and planetary gears and helps reduce friction and gear operating temperatures, potentially extending oil operating life and maintenance intervals. It exceeds DIN 51517-3 requirements and is within the Siemens AG/Flender approved viscosity range.
