Description

GEARMASTER PGP 460 is a fully synthetic polyglycol-based high-performance gear oil formulated for heavily loaded industrial gearboxes and applications involving significant sliding movement. It combines an extremely low coefficient of friction with high pressure absorption, very high shear stability and excellent corrosion protection. The ISO VG 460 viscosity provides a thick lubricating film for heavily loaded spur, bevel, planetary and worm gears where higher-viscosity lubrication is required. Its superior friction behaviour and load-carrying capacity can help reduce oil temperature and support extended oil change intervals. It is classified as CLP-PG 460 and is suitable for high-temperature industrial applications.
