Description

GEARMASTER SYN 680 is a fully synthetic poly-alpha-olefin (PAO)-based high-performance gear oil formulated for heavily loaded industrial gear systems operating under high or widely fluctuating temperatures. It combines high ageing stability with excellent corrosion protection and very good temperature-viscosity behaviour for reliable lubrication across a large temperature range. The ISO VG 680 viscosity provides a very thick lubricating film for heavily loaded spur, bevel and planetary gears requiring high-viscosity lubrication. Its outstanding cold-flow properties, reduced friction and wear and compatibility with mineral oils support dependable operation and improved gearbox efficiency. It is classified as CLP-HC 680 and exceeds DIN 51517-3 requirements.
