Description

Meropa 460 is an ISO VG 460 mineral extreme-pressure lubricant developed for enclosed industrial and marine gears operating at low speeds and high loads. Its robust additive system helps prevent scuffing, scoring, bearing wear, rust and corrosion. The ISO VG 460 grade maintains a thick protective oil film under severe loads and elevated operating temperatures. Oxidation resistance, demulsibility and foam control help preserve lubricant condition and gear-system cleanliness. It is suitable for large reducers, mills, conveyors and other gearboxes requiring an AGMA EP or DIN 51517-3 CLP lubricant.
