Description

Mobil EAL Arctic 46 is a supreme-performance ISO VG 46 fully synthetic polyol ester refrigeration oil engineered for compressors and systems using HFC, HFO and HFO/HFC refrigerants. Its proprietary POE base stocks and additive system provide excellent wear protection, lubricity and resistance to thermal, chemical and hydrolytic degradation. The ISO VG 46 viscosity develops a stronger lubricating film for refrigeration compressors requiring greater load protection while retaining effective refrigerant miscibility and oil-return characteristics. The wax-free formulation supports clean evaporators, dependable low-temperature performance and efficient operation in HVAC, commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. It must be protected from moisture during handling and is not suitable for ammonia systems.
