Description

Mobil EAL Arctic 68 is a supreme-performance ISO VG 68 fully synthetic polyol ester refrigeration oil designed for compressors using HFC, HFO and HFO/HFC refrigerants. It delivers excellent lubricity, wear protection and thermal, chemical and hydrolytic stability under demanding refrigeration operating conditions. The ISO VG 68 viscosity provides a robust lubricating film for more heavily loaded or higher-temperature compressors requiring increased sealing and component protection. Its controlled refrigerant miscibility supports proper oil return, while the high viscosity index and wax-free formulation help maintain evaporator cleanliness and system efficiency. It is suitable for specified HVAC, commercial and industrial refrigeration applications but must not be used in ammonia systems.
