Description

Mobil Pegasus 805 is a premium SAE 40 gas-engine oil engineered for high-speed, four-stroke engines operating primarily on natural gas. Its excellent oxidation and nitration resistance helps maintain cleaner engines, extend oil and filter life and control carbon, lacquer and sludge deposits. The balanced low-ash formulation protects valve faces, seats and guides while its very low zinc and phosphorus content supports use in engines fitted with catalytic exhaust converters. Strong anti-wear and anti-scuffing performance helps protect pistons, rings and cylinder liners in fully loaded engines, while good demulsibility, foam resistance and corrosion protection promote reliable operation. It meets the requirements of numerous gas-engine manufacturers and is designed to support long engine life with reduced maintenance.
