Description
Mobil Rarus 827 is a supreme-performance ISO VG 100 synthetic air-compressor oil formulated primarily for severe-duty reciprocating compressors. Its outstanding oxidation and thermal stability helps minimise deposits, improve valve performance and extend oil and filter service life. The ISO VG 100 viscosity provides strong sealing and load-carrying film protection for reciprocating compressor cylinders, crankcases, bearings and gears operating at high temperatures. Low ash and carbon formation, high auto-ignition resistance and excellent water separation help improve compressor reliability and reduce fire risk. It is suitable for continuous discharge temperatures up to 200°C but must not be used in breathing-air compressors.
