Description

Mobil Velocite Oil No. 3 is a premium ISO VG 2 light-coloured spindle oil developed for precision machine tools operating at extremely high speeds. Its oxidation resistance helps prevent deposits, while rust protection and water separation preserve bearing surfaces and long-term machining accuracy. The exceptionally low 2.1 mm²/s viscosity at 40°C is specifically suited to “zero-clearance” spindle bearings where minimal fluid resistance and immediate oil penetration are essential. It helps bearings operate cool and smoothly in precision grinders, lathes, jig borers and sensitive instruments. The product may also serve in selected low-pressure hydraulic or circulating systems requiring an ultra-light oil.
