Description
Mobil Velocite Oil No. 4 is a premium ISO VG 5 spindle oil formulated for high-speed machine-tool bearings with very fine operating clearances. Its good oxidation stability, rust protection and resistance to emulsion formation support clean systems and precise, reliable operation. The ISO VG 5 viscosity provides slightly greater film strength for close-clearance sleeve bearings while retaining the rapid circulation required at very high spindle speeds. It is suitable for precision grinders, lathes, jig borers, tracer mechanisms and certain sensitive instruments. It can also be used in low-pressure hydraulic and circulation systems where its viscosity is appropriate.
