Description

Mobilgear SHC XMP 460 is a high-performance ISO VG 460 fully synthetic PAO gear oil developed for heavily loaded enclosed industrial gear drives operating under extreme conditions. It provides outstanding protection against conventional scuffing, micropitting fatigue, rust and corrosion while supporting effective rolling-bearing lubrication. Its high ISO VG 460 viscosity maintains a substantial lubricating film in very heavily loaded, low-speed and shock-loaded gear systems. Excellent thermal and oxidation resistance helps control deposits, extend drain intervals and protect remotely located or difficult-to-service equipment. It is recommended for suitable steel-on-steel spur, helical and bevel gears exposed to high or low temperatures.
