Description

RENOSAFE FireProtect 46 is a fire-resistant, Group HFDU hydraulic fluid based on high-purity synthetic esters and a zinc- and ash-free additive technology, formulated for hydraulic systems operating in areas with high fire risk. Its formulation provides excellent oxidation, thermal and hydrolytic stability, together with robust wear and extreme-pressure protection, excellent copper and yellow-metal compatibility and effective corrosion protection. The ISO VG 46 viscosity, combined with a naturally high and shear-stable viscosity index, provides reliable lubrication across a broad temperature range without relying on viscosity-index improvers. The fluid offers rapid air release, low foaming and effective water separation, and is rapidly biodegradable at more than 60% according to OECD 301 B. It fulfils and surpasses the requirements of ISO 12922: HFDU and is FM Approvals approved for fire-resistant hydraulic applications.
