Description

Shell Tellus S2 VX 68 is a high-performance ISO VG 68 hydraulic fluid designed for heavily loaded industrial and mobile equipment exposed to varying ambient and system temperatures. Its high viscosity index helps maintain suitable fluid thickness during start-up and at elevated operating temperatures, while shear stability supports consistent long-term performance. The higher ISO VG 68 viscosity forms a durable lubricating film for slower-moving, heavily loaded or warmer-running hydraulic systems without sacrificing protection during temperature changes. Strong anti-wear performance, oxidation resistance, water separation, air release and foam control help protect pumps and maintain system cleanliness. It is recommended where the equipment manufacturer specifies an ISO HV or DIN HVLP hydraulic oil of this viscosity grade.
