Taro 60 XL 40X is a premium SAE 40 trunk-piston marine diesel engine oil developed with a nominal 60 BN reserve for severe residual-fuel service. Its advanced detergent and dispersant technology helps control piston deposits, liner lacquering, ring sticking and crankcase contamination. The 40X formulation combines high alkalinity with enhanced cleanliness and wear protection for demanding modern medium-speed marine engines. Robust oxidation stability helps maintain viscosity, control oil degradation and support extended component reliability. It is suitable for approved four-stroke trunk-piston engines operating on higher-sulphur residual fuels and requiring this specific performance level.
