TARO ULTRA 40

Description

Taro Ultra 40 is a premium 40 BN cylinder lubricant formulated for large two-stroke, slow-speed crosshead marine diesel engines. It provides detergency, piston cleanliness and protection against ring, liner and cylinder wear during operation on compatible fuels. The moderate 40 BN reserve is suited to approved engines operating on low-sulphur fuels where excessive alkalinity and ash must be avoided. Its lubricating film helps control scuffing and maintain clean piston ring packs and cylinder surfaces. Product selection and feed rate should follow the engine builder’s fuel-sulphur and operating-condition recommendations.
