Taro Ultra Advanced 40 is a high-performance 40 BN Category II cylinder lubricant developed for modern two-stroke, slow-speed crosshead marine diesel engines. It provides enhanced piston cleanliness, deposit control and protection against cylinder-liner and piston-ring wear during low- and no-sulphur fuel operation. Its Category II performance delivers advanced cleanliness and wear protection at a moderate 40 BN with controlled ash formation. The formulation is designed for approved conventional and electronically controlled engines, including suitable alternative-fuel applications. Product selection and feed rate must follow the applicable engine builder’s approval and operating recommendations.
