Description

Taro 20 XP 40 is a premium SAE 40 trunk-piston marine diesel engine oil developed with a nominal 20 BN alkalinity reserve. It provides advanced piston cleanliness, oxidation control and protection against wear, corrosion and deposit formation in modern four-stroke engines. The SAE 40 viscosity supplies increased load-carrying film strength while the 20 BN reserve supports low-sulphur and distillate-fuel operation. Its detergent and dispersant system helps minimise ring sticking, liner lacquering and crankcase sludge. It is suitable for approved medium-speed marine engines requiring an SAE 40 lubricant with this alkalinity level.
