Description

Taro 30 XP 40 is a premium SAE 40 trunk-piston marine diesel engine oil developed with a nominal 30 BN reserve. Its advanced detergent and dispersant technology helps control deposits and maintain piston, ring, liner and crankcase cleanliness. The combination of SAE 40 film strength and 30 BN alkalinity supports demanding medium-speed marine engine operation on compatible fuels. Strong oxidation resistance, corrosion protection and wear control help extend component life and maintain reliable performance. It is suitable for approved four-stroke trunk-piston engines requiring an SAE 40, medium-alkalinity lubricant.
