Description

ALPHA SP 220 is a premium-quality extreme-pressure industrial gear lubricant formulated from solvent-refined mineral base stocks with a sulphur-phosphorus additive system. It provides high load-carrying capacity, anti-wear protection and reliable lubrication under heavy and shock-loaded conditions. The formulation also provides good thermal stability, oxidation resistance, corrosion protection, water separation and foam control, helping maintain reliable operation and extend gear life. The ISO VG 220 viscosity provides a strong lubricating film for demanding industrial gear applications. It is suitable for enclosed gear drives in heavy industrial machinery and can also be used for chain drives, sprockets, flexible couplings, plain bearings and roller bearings.
