Mobilgard 540 AC is a premium SAE 50 cylinder oil designed for modern two-stroke crosshead marine engines operating across diverse fuel and engine conditions. Its advanced detergency technology controls deposits and provides oxidation, wear and acid protection at elevated firing pressures and liner temperatures. The 40 BN formulation carries MAN Energy Solutions Category II status and WinGD validations for liquid-fuel, LNG, methanol and ammonia applications. It supports optimised cylinder-oil feed rates and advanced cleanliness during operation with low-sulphur liquid fuels and alternative fuels.
