Description

Castrol Optigear EP 32 is a high-performance mineral-based industrial gear oil formulated with extreme-pressure, anti-wear and plastic-deformation additive technology for demanding mechanical applications. Its formulation provides high load-carrying capacity, wear protection and resistance to shock loading while supporting long-term and permanent lubrication under difficult operating conditions. The ISO VG 32 viscosity provides suitable flow characteristics for applications requiring a relatively low-viscosity gear lubricant. It is suitable for spur and bevel gears, gear couplings, bearings and drive units, including equipment exposed to shock loads, and complies with DIN 51517 Part 3 CLP requirements while also meeting API GL-5 requirements.
