Description

Shell Gadus S2 V220AD 2 is a high-performance multipurpose grease formulated with high-viscosity-index mineral base oil, a mixed lithium-calcium soap thickener and a combination of extreme-pressure, anti-wear, antioxidant, anticorrosion and adhesion additives. Its incorporated solid lubricants provide additional protection against severe shock loading, while its strong adhesive properties help the grease remain in place under demanding conditions. It offers effective resistance to water washout and corrosion, helping extend bearing life in damp, hostile and heavily loaded operating environments. Typical applications include heavy-duty bearings in off-highway equipment, construction machinery and fifth-wheel couplings. It has an NLGI 2 consistency and a recommended operating-temperature range of approximately –10°C to +120°C.
