Description

Shell Gadus S2 V220AC 2 is a high-performance, water-resistant multipurpose grease formulated with high-viscosity-index mineral base oil, a mixed lithium-calcium soap thickener and extreme-pressure, anti-wear, antioxidant and anticorrosion additives. Its excellent mechanical stability allows it to retain its consistency during prolonged severe vibration, while its water resistance delivers dependable protection in equipment exposed to intensive water washout. It provides reliable lubrication under heavy loads, shock loads and elevated temperatures, together with effective corrosion protection and controlled oil separation. Typical applications include heavy-duty plain and rolling-element bearings, wheel bearings, chassis components and construction equipment operating in wet or demanding environments. It has an NLGI 2 consistency and an operating-temperature range of approximately –20°C to +120°C.
