Description

Shell Refrigeration Oil S4 FR-F 68 is an ISO VG 68 synthetic polyol ester refrigeration lubricant developed for compressors operating with R134a and other HFC refrigerants, including R23, R404A, R410 and R507. It offers excellent high-temperature and oxidation stability, supporting long lubricant life and clean compressor operation under demanding discharge conditions. Its medium-viscosity film provides a strong balance of component protection and lubricant circulation for general industrial and commercial refrigeration duties. Effective wear protection helps safeguard bearings and pistons in rotary and reciprocating compressors, while compatibility with sealing materials commonly used in HFC systems supports reliable operation. It meets DIN 51503 KD requirements.
