Description

Shell Spirax S3 ATF MD3, formerly known as Shell ATF III, is a premium mineral-oil-based automatic transmission fluid formulated with high-viscosity-index base oils and carefully selected additives. Its carefully balanced frictional properties provide smooth, reliable and consistent transmission operation throughout the recommended service interval. Excellent resistance to oxidation and oil degradation helps maintain performance at high operating temperatures, while dependable anti-wear protection contributes to longer component life. Its excellent low-temperature fluidity supports responsive operation during cold starts. It is suitable for passenger-car and heavy-duty automatic transmissions, power-steering systems and selected hydraulic applications requiring GM Dexron III, Ford Mercon or Allison C-4 performance.
