Description

Shell Gadus S2 V100 3 is a high-performance NLGI 3 lithium-hydroxystearate multipurpose grease formulated with an ISO VG 100 mineral base oil and antioxidant, anti-wear and anti-rust additives. Its firmer NLGI 3 consistency provides strong grease retention in applications specifically requiring a harder consistency, while maintaining dependable performance at temperatures from −20°C to +130°C. Good oxidation and mechanical stability help prevent deposit formation and lubricant leakage, even in vibrating or repeatedly shock-loaded bearings. It provides effective corrosion protection in hostile environments and maintains its consistency during prolonged storage. It is suitable for rolling-element and plain bearings, electric-motor bearings, sealed-for-life bearings and water-pump bearings.
